How do Championship Points work?

Championship Points are the larger scoring metric that ultimately determines the Top Eight Finalists moving on to the official ISF (International Skateboarding Federation) Street Skateboarding World Championship: the SLS Nike SB Super Crown World Championship in Chicago on October 4th.

Championship Points are earned by competing in Tampa Pro, SLS Nike SB Pro Open, Stop One, and Stop Two of the SLS Nike SB World Tour. Throughout the season, Championship Points are accumulated into a total to determine the skaters rank in the overall season standings. As points are added from each event, rank and standings adjust to reflect the top-ranking skater based on points earned. However, immediately after Stop Two of the SLS Nike SB World Tour, each skater will drop their lowest event score from the 2015 season to give them their final Championship Point ranking.
