Earlier today, skaters from 12 countries around the world descended on Skate Agora BDN to compete in the 2017 SLS Nike SB Pro Open Qualifier for their shot to advance to the Semi-Finals tomorrow and make it into SLS.
Heat 1 is always a tough one, Vincent Milou came out swinging with last-minute kickflip lipslide on the wedge to rail. His effort scored him a 7.6 and locked him into first place with a 25.8 overall rolling into the second heat.
Dashawn Jordan dominated
Heat 2 landing banger after banger including 270 lipslide and cab lipslide down the rail. He punctuated this performance with a tre flip noseslide that was scored a 7.2—bumping Milou out of the top spot.
In Heat 3, Axel Cruysberghs brought it right out of the gate with an 8.0 in the Run Section. He continued his assault with a 180 switch 5-0 on the volcano bench and finished out the third heat in the top spot.
Heat 4 saw Boo Johnson barely squeeze into the Top 7 with a tre flip lipslide down the rail. Boo would ultimately get bumped out in Heat 5 by Jamie Foy—who straight up annihilated the course. Foy’s repertoire included a fakie ollie willy grind down the rail, a body varial over the volcano bench, and a fakie ollie to switch front crooks down the rail.
When it was all said and done, the following skaters advanced to tomorrow’s Semi-Final:
Axel Cruysberghs – 30.3
Jamie Foy – 28.9
Dashawn Jordan – 27.9
Yuto Horigome – 27.7

Marek Zaprazny – 26.3
Vincent Milou – 25.8
