With our Europe stops seeing a new judging panel filled with European skateboard legends it was only right to create a new panel for the U.S. stops. The U.S. panel consists of five legendary U.S. skateboarders: Stevie Williams, Reese Forbes, Kelly Hart, Jimmy Gorecki & Alphonzo Rawls.
Stevie Williams – One of the pioneers of inner city skateboarding, Stevie grew up in Philly skating Love Park during the 90’s. Known for his effortless style, Stevie changed the way skateboarding was looked at and inspired urban kids around the world. Rising from being homeless to being the founder of DGK, Stevie has seen it all and we are hyped to have him as a judge.

Reese Forbes – East coast 90’s powerhouse Reese Forbes grew up skating the infamous Pulaski Park plaza in Washington D.C. and is known for his powerful push and being able to Ollie anything. One of the original Nike SB riders, Reese has traveled the world as a pro skater and now lives in California working on projects that involve skateboarding.

Kelly Hart – After sending in a sponsor-me tape to Expedition in the early 2000’s, Kelly broke onto the scene in Expedition’s 2006 video ‘It’s Official’. Since then Kelly has continued to push skateboarding with his smooth style. Winning the 2015 SLS Trick of the Year with a ground breaking trick – Fakie Tre Fakie Manny on the legendary West LA courthouse stage – Kelly Hart knows the ins and outs of skating as well as the pressure of doing tricks in a contest atmosphere.

Jimmy Gorecki – One of the original SLS judges, Jimmy Gorecki comes from the city of brotherly love – Philadelphia. Jimmy was an amateur skater on Aesthetics which was one of the respected brands of the late 90’s / early 2000’s. He also rode for Pharrell’s Ice Cream skate team which allowed him to travel the world and opened doors for him in the fashion & entertainment world.
Alphonzo Rawls – The most OG of our judges, Alf started skating in 1985. He went Pro for the legendary H-Street and pioneered many mini ramp & vert tricks along with being able to shred the streets. After starting Expedition in the late 90’s, Alf began to get into skate footwear and clothing design and has been involved with creating shoes for tons of skate brands. Since then he continues to skate, dropping epic tricks on his Instagram at 43 years old, and started his own brand Everybody Skates. We have nothing but respect for this legend and are honored to have him on the judging panel.
