Evan Smith grew up in Orlando, Florida, started skating around 13 years old and got his first sponsor when he was 15. A few years later he started riding for Element skateboards. In 2010, Evan’s part in DC’s Skateboarding is Forever video gave the world a glimpse into his rad style as well as his unique way of skating and in 2013 Element turned him Pro. Evan made it into SLS through the 2015 SLS Nike SB Pro Open and rocked the SLS rankings with unpredictable runs and tricks in his rookie year. Evan continued to impress in 2016—skating like no one else and making it to the Finals in New Jersey. 2017 saw Evan drop 2 insane video parts, one in the “DC promo” and the other as a solo part for Spitfire. He didn’t end up cracking the top 10 at all, but Evan’s epic, larger then life personality always hypes up the crowd and other SLS Pros.
