Hailing from Vancouver, Canada, Ryan Decenzo made his debut in skateboarding when he won Tampa Am in 2008. Two years later he was turning Pro for Darkstar Skateboards. Ryan qualified into SLS in 2013 through the Global SLS Select Series. In 2014, in front of a sold-out crowd in Los Angeles, Decenzo made it to his first Final as an SLS Pro but just missed the podium landing in 4th. Keeping his momen- tum, he climbed the rankings in 2015 advancing to the Finals in both Los Angeles and New Jersey, and just narrowly missed a spot in
the Super Crown World Championship. In 2016, Decenzo made it to the Finals at every stop except New Jersey and got his first taste of skating the Super Crown World Championship. 2017, Ryan missed placed 21st in 2017, and is looking to bounce back and have an epic 2018.
